UNDER THE ROSE
Under The Rose united for the first time in October 1987 in a tiny practice hall in Forestville, Connecticut. Their primary ambition at the time was to perform one concert at the University of Connecticut in West Hartford. As luck would have it, one thing led to another and low and behold it's now twelve years later and they're still plugging away. Who'd have thought it would last as long as it has.
BRIGHTWINGS
Based in Boston, The Brightwings consist of three singer/songwriters: Matt Rafal, Dave Dombroski and Dan Holden. Jayme Tardiff rounds out the line-up on drums. Their name is taken from an episode of the television show "The Wonder Years," which was set in the late 60's and early 70's. The Brightwings are influenced by that same era, hinting at the honest and simple sounds of The Eagles, CSNY, Tom Petty and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band incorporates this nostalgic vibe into their songwriting, creating modern songs with a classic rock feel. Three part vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars and heartfelt lyrics are all key elements of the Brightwings sound.
C4
C4 Has developed a unique blend of crunchy guitars, heavy chop based rhythms, acoustic guitars, and melodic vocals. The sound has been described as modern acoustic metal. C4 is now booking a fall tour to begin in their home state of Connecticut, and conclude in Chicago, Ill.
C4 released their self titled EP at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. on August 28th 2004. The WB network was on hand to shoot footage for a new TV series that showcases up and coming bands from around the U.S. and Canada. A near capacity crowd was on hand for the release party.
ACCIDENTAL GROOVE
This was a very cool experience for AG as we were able to hang out and work with industry legends. Once we had the final mastered mixes, we had all the artwork, photo's and design layout to deal with. We had a pro graphic designer (Mark Grindell, Avid, Inc) help us with the album concept and hired a photographer (Henry Dobosz) to follow us around and take what seemed like a million photos of us.
